I’m from outside Seoul, and I’m leaving this review in case it helps. 1. ㄷㅇㅇ The first clinic I went to. I was surprised because it was even larger than I expected, and even though it was a weekday, there were so many people on every floor that I personally didn’t really like it. Since I had an appointment, I didn’t have to wait much. I got a recommendation for the doctor from the consultant when I went there, and unlike some other reviews, the consultant and doctor I met were kind, so it was okay for me! Even though it was my first consultation, they explained everything well and understood what I wanted. More than anything, the price was about 1 million won cheaper than other clinics, so I kept debating until the end, but because it was such a large clinic, I felt like aftercare might be stressful. There were too many people, and I thought it would be hard to see the doctorㅠ After the consultation, I put down a 100,000 won deposit, but they said it could be canceled later, so I’ve requested cancellation for now! 2. ㅃㄹ I had a 1-hour consultation here (40 minutes with the doctor, 20 minutes with the consultant). Just like the reviews I looked up before going, they were really, really, extremely kind. Both the consultant and the doctor,, After going to a large clinic and then visiting a one-doctor clinic, I could definitely feel that they paid more attention to me, and they explained that after surgery, they would schedule consultations only on days when seeing the doctor in person would definitely be possible! As I mentioned, the price was about 1 million won more expensive than No. 1. But since it’s my first surgery, I tried not to think about the price! There was no pressure to pay a deposit, so I just left. What felt ambiguous was that I said I wanted to improve the columella area, but they said that if the nose is raised, the columella will come out slightly, so it wasn’t really necessary. But I really wanted to improve my protruding mouth, so after the consultation, I kept wondering whether they could really meet my needs. It felt ambiguous. (Aside from this clinic, the other clinics all mentioned the protruding mouth I was concerned about and recommended nasolabial angle correction!) 3. ㄷㅌㅁ I went here because I heard it was famous for ㄴㅈㅂ. Unlike the reviews about the consultant, she was kind. However,, I went without an appointment, so I think I only saw the doctor for about 5 minutes,, He seemed very busy and looked exhausted. The price was definitely cheaper than open surgery, but it felt expensive for closed surgery, so I thought if that’s the case, wouldn’t open surgery be better? And since they said it would be absorbed later, it felt like a waste of money, so I didn’t make a reservation. Of course, there was no pressure to pay a deposit either. 4. ㅍㄹㅇㅂ This was the last clinic, and although not as much as No. 2, both the doctor and consultant were very kind and good. I also liked that this clinic wasn’t large, and I liked the clinic facilities themselves. When the doctor came in and started the consultation, I thought, this is the place. The consultation lasted about 30 minutes, and unlike the other places, they even told me the specific size in mm of my septal cartilage. They explained that to get the nose shape I wanted (I brought a photo of Oh Yeon-seo), only about that much could be harvested, so it would be better to use costal cartilage. They also looked at my overall forehead, glabella, and nose line, checked the harmony of my face, and picked up exactly the areas I wanted corrected, including nasolabial angle correction! After the doctor left, while wrapping up the consultation with the consultant and hearing the price, I became sure that I should go here! (The other places had felt ambiguous.) However, this clinic had a discount (5%) if you booked on the same day. Since I had already made up my mind that I was going to do it anyway, I paid the deposit and came back, and now I’m just waiting for the surgery date haha. All the places I consulted gave me some level of discount under the condition of partial photo disclosure. Except for No. 3, I had CT scans and photos taken, and none of them charged a consultation fee! In conclusion, I do think the price feels high for a first surgery,, but since it’s the nose, I also felt that this is the level of investment I should make.
