I visited for a consultation because it was one of 4 clinics that matched (met) my criteria for choosing a clinic. A single-director clinic (not factory-style), clean facilities, fixed pricing, not a beginner director (young) X, not an older director X, not a clinic mentioned excessively (broker ads X), 2 or fewer surgeries per day, aftercare (whether A/S is available), rhinoplasty-specialized (especially revision surgery-specialized), etc. I chose based on these criteria. Because it was a revision surgery, I had a consultation focused on revision rhinoplasty and reconstruction. During the consultation with the director, they said my current nasal tip and nasal bridge were deviated, and due to silicone contracture/inflammation, show-through had occurred; the columella had not descended, and there was a high possibility of cartilage damage as well. We decided to proceed with revision rhinoplasty using custom silicone, septal cartilage, and AlloDerm (dermis). In particular, the director suggested making it natural, which matched what I wanted, so among the clinics I consulted, this one was the closest to being the clinic where I would have revision surgery.
