I kept saying this is really the last time I’m touching my nose… It’s already been 4 months since I completely redid my nasal bridge and nasal tip!! I was told it wouldn’t be structurally easy because my septum was originally small and deviated, and on top of that, I still had filler from before, so I had it dissolved in a hurry one week before surgery. I only raised the bridge slightly, and for the tip I used ear cartilage + autologous costal cartilage. Because I had a bulbous nose, I was bothered by the drooping tip and blunt-looking shape. But once autologous costal cartilage was used, the shape really became clearly defined. At first it felt a little hard and there was also a foreign-body sensation, but now it just feels as comfortable as my own bone lol And the nasal tip is really... not pointy, but firmly supported. Maybe because I had a bulbous nose, I was really worried about the swelling at first, but after passing 3 months, it definitely went down a lot. Honestly, when I think about my nose before surgery, these days every time I look in the mirror, all I can think is that I had a glow-up lol It’s exactly the natural-yet-refined look I wanted. Rather than greedily making the nose high and obvious, I think finding a nose that suits your face is really important. This time, when I consulted with the director, I was really serious about that, and maybe because of that, both the result and my satisfaction are the highest now..ㅠㅠ I guess this applies to any surgery, but for revision surgery, communication with the director is truly important ㅠㅠ Before surgery, I was worried the areas where the filler dissolved would sink in, but maybe because they filled it well with autologous costal cartilage, there’s none of that at all, and the skin tension on my nose is still good!! Now I guess I’m less scared of being photographed from the side... Of all the noses I’ve lived with my whole life, I like my current one the most..lol
