Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

Review of revision rhinoplasty due to dissatisfaction with the shape.

I had rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. With autologous costal cartilage, I made the nasal tip stand a bit more firmly, and raised the nasal bridge with silicone. Now it has become much more natural than at first, and the shape feels like it's stabilizing! Because I had osteotomy, the major swelling still remained somewhat up to the one-month mark, but as time passed and it stabilized, it looked less swollen in photos, and every time I looked in the mirror, I could clearly see it settling into place. However, maybe because it's autologous costal cartilage, the nasal tip is still a bit firm, and since I also had nasolabial angle correction, it does feel slightly awkward when I smile. There is a small scar left near the rib area, but once the redness fades, I think it will barely show. There is almost no pain! It hasn't completely settled yet, but I like the overall shape and angle, so I'm satisfied.
