<1 year before><1 year after><1 year after><1 year after>It has been 1 year since I had cheekbone reduction surgery. Right after surgery, I couldn’t really feel the change because of swelling, but as time passed, my facial shape gradually settled naturally. Especially from months 3 to 6, I heard a lot that the cheekbone area looked much softer and that my overall impression had become softer. After 1 year, I think the final contour is almost complete. The feel has also become much more natural now, so there is no discomfort at all in daily life, and it doesn’t feel awkward when I make facial expressions. However, when I smile, it does feel like the flesh looks a little less filled in, so I think it would be even better to manage the cheek fat as well. Before surgery, I was very worried about pain and side effects, but seeing the progress, I feel like I made the right choice. My confidence has gone up too, and my satisfaction when taking photos has definitely changed. If anyone is considering cheekbone reduction, I’d like to say that if you manage the recovery period and aftercare well, you can definitely feel a positive change. I think the broad, flat look from the front has also decreased a lot. I had deep cheek fat removal done together too~
