It was my first time getting plastic surgery, and since no one around me had had nose surgery, researching online and visiting clinics was really, really hardㅠㅠ Even after consultations at 10 places, there wasn’t anywhere I liked, but the last place I consulted at felt very trustworthy, so I decided I should do it there, booked it, set the surgery date, and now I’m writing my 3-month review haha! First of all, before surgery, my concerns were that I had a crooked nose, it looked like a hump nose depending on the angle, and the nasal tip droopedㅠㅠ The director said we could do the nasal bridge without an implant, and for the nasal tip, if I wanted it high we would need to use costal cartilage, but if I wanted it natural, septal cartilage + ear cartilage would also be possible, so that’s how we proceeded! On the day of surgery, after I came out from the operation, I wondered, “Did I really have surgery..?” because it didn’t hurt at all. The nasal packing and splint were uncomfortable, but maybe because the director’s technique was good, it didn’t hurt, so I was really relievedㅠ The director took my face shape, features, and existing asymmetry into account and did the surgery well, so I liked it!! Up until the 1-month mark it was swollen and too high, but now that it’s been 3 months, it turned out so natural that no one notices except friends with a sharp eye. I didn’t develop any scar tissue either, and I think I just need to keep doing scar care. Even a friend who had never thought about nose surgery saw my nose and said they wanted to get it done too, so I’m completely satisfied.
