My nose before surgery: it was wide and bulky... and I had basically no bridge at all.. Honestly, when I consulted at other places, I kept hearing things like, with a bridge this low, silicone is the right choice.. I heard that a lot ^^ But I absolutely did not want silicone, so I didn’t give up and ended up having surgery without an implant ㅋㅋ Because I had a bulbous nose, I also had bulbous-nose correction, used ear cartilage from my left ear, and shaved down a bit of a hump too Nose surgery really feels like a race against time. At first, because of the packing, it was hard to breathe through my nose, my nose kept running, and my lips kept getting dry too ㅋㅋ it was so frustrating.. Still, because they checked everything carefully every time I went to the hospital, I was able to get through that period well ㅋㅋ You know how they say the first week after surgery is really hard and you worry a lot? I was the same too. At first I was literally looking in the mirror every day, wondering if the surgery had gone well, worrying a lot and all that, but thankfully once that period passed, my satisfaction >>> my worries.. I went for a follow-up after a while, and they said there was still some swelling in the bridge of my nose They said once the swelling goes down, it’ll get a lot slimmer, so I’m not worrying ㅋㅋ Honestly, from the front I feel like it’ll slim down with time, so I’m not as concerned, but the side view.. I never expected the line to come out this nicely with only no-implant surgery ㅋㅋ Of course, since it was done only with cartilage, I thought the line would differ to some extent from people who had silicone, but it doesn’t really seem that way ㅋㅋ I still need to see how much the swelling goes down, but so far I like the line ㅋㅋ
