Kim Sang-beom Review

The doctor was one of the few I have visited who gave such a detailed consultation. Most clinics proceed with a manager consultation first and then the director consultation, but here I liked that the director explained things in detail for a long time first, and then with the manager we only talked about the price. He carefully talked about asymmetry, nostril shape, and the distance between the eyes overall, and even measured the distance between the eyes with a ruler. The consulting manager was also quite old and had apparently worked with him for decades, which made me trust them. They said there had never been any complications such as contracture, and that there had never been silicone inflammation either. Even in cases where other clinics had inflammation and the patient underwent revision surgery, they said there had still been no inflammation. The surgery is done under local anesthesia rather than sleep anesthesia, so there do not seem to be issues like proxy surgery. As far as safety goes, it seemed like a good clinic, but I was not drawn to the aesthetic side, so I did not choose it. The surgical method was a little different from other clinics. It seemed they do not use the septum and instead use ear cartilage, but they said they do not use the ear cartilage as a support and rather place it on top like an overlay. They also said there is no need to use donor rib cartilage for a first surgery, and that if there is a problem later, you can just have surgery again then(?). It felt like they wanted to try their own method first and, if it did not work, do it again, so it did not make me want the surgery. In the middle, they said they would show me the silicone height, but personally I think the shape of the tip is more important than the silicone height. The director here seemed to care too much only about the bridge height, so I thought our opinions would not match. Because the columella is set back, they recommended alar base reduction, but another clinic said the nostrils are small so it is a surgery that should absolutely not be done..
