For a long time, I was really bothered by how my eyes looked sharply upturned and fierce, and because the outer corners looked closed off, like small narrow eyes, I always thought I should get posterior lower canthoplasty. But posterior lower canthoplasty is not as common a surgery as double eyelid surgery, and not many of my friends around me had done it, so I just kept thinking about it for yearsㅠ Then I had a chance to look for clinics this time, so I searched really hard online, and came to know this clinic. The reviews were all so good, and there was not a single post about side effects, so because it looked too clean, I was actually suspicious at firstㅜ But after going to consultations at several other clinics, both the consultant and the director here were kind without pushing anything excessive, so I decided to have it done here, booked a date, and got the surgery haha When the surgery date came, I was nervous until I entered the operating room, but during the process of going into the operating room, the clinic facilities were clean, and even when entering the operating room, I went through an air shower and so on, so it felt like the clinic was very thorough about hygiene, and I think my anxiety about the clinic went away! After getting the surgery and coming out, even though it was right after surgery, there was almost no swelling or bruising. I had brought sunglasses because I thought it might look very gross, but I was surprised because it was not as gross-looking as I expected, to the point that I did not even need sunglasses, and my eyes seemed to have naturally gotten bigger, so I have been very satisfied from immediately after the surgery! Also, because my eyes were asymmetrical, the director said he had overcorrected one side. At first, I wondered if the overcorrected side looked a bit unnatural, but as 2 weeks passed, I could see it gradually becoming more natural, and since I kept visiting the clinic to receive swelling treatment too, from about the 1-month mark until now, it has become so natural that my friends cannot tell I had it done..! With a subtle difference only I can recognize, my asymmetrical eyes were corrected, and it feels like the proportions of my eyes have somehow become balanced, so I’m satisfied! For reference, I only had these 3 procedures: posterior canthoplasty, lower canthoplasty, and lowering of the outer eye corners.
