<Before double eyelid surgery><One week after getting double eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method><At 2 weeks, I was worried because the inner corners of my eyes felt slightly thick><At 1 month, the front line of my eyes settled down even with no makeup, so it got okay><Same 1-month mark, but this is with makeup!><2 months><3 months>Even though I wanted double eyelid surgery, I’m the type who worries a lot and can’t make decisions right away, so I really worked hard going around to consultations and finally got the surgery... Honestly, even after deciding, I was anxious and the type to worry in advance about things that hadn’t even happened ㅠ ㅠ At least my eyes are relatively long horizontally, so when I went around for consultations, all the directors complimented me and said my eyes would become pretty. But I kept thinking, can they really change into the eye shape I want? It’s non-incisional, so will the line be fixed well? I think that’s why I couldn’t bring myself to decide on surgery..... But I said I went to 10 consultations, right? Most of the diagnoses were pretty similar, but only this place clearly resolved my question about whether I could make a defined double eyelid with the non-incisional method, so I think that’s why I was able to decide on surgery. Since it was my first surgery, I was recommended the buried-suture method, but the director said that because I have a bit of flesh on my upper eyelids, if they removed this unnecessary fat and created the line, the fixation would be better, and even if the line was made high, it wouldn’t have that distinctive sausage-like look. Actually, when I looked at reviews here, most people seemed to go for a natural result, so I wondered if it would be okay. But I was relieved that the director reflected my opinion as much as possible and created a glamorous line for me. Also, every time I went, there were really a lot of people at the clinic, but they checked my progress after surgery and handled each part of the aftercare, like swelling laser treatment. It made me realize again that maybe this is what’s good about a private clinic... In the beginning, honestly, there was quite a lot of swelling, so the line itself looked awkward and I was worried ㅠ ㅠ My friends said that level of recovery was seriously top-tier, but to my eyes it was just awkward-looking upper eyelids..... The clinic also said that it takes at least a month for things to settle into place, so I held it in and waited, and it really did become more natural as time passed! At the 1-month mark, I was so satisfied that I kept praying, please don’t let the line come down any more, please please please....ㅋㅋㅋㅋ People’s feelings really are so fickle ㅠ ㅠ Since I went to a lot of consultations, one tip I’d give is don’t rush into a consultation just because you saw review photos!! < Honestly, I think photos can look pretty at any clinic, you know? If you look at the clinic’s website and check whether they mainly do eye surgery well, whether they’re good at revision surgery too, and things like that, it can make your online research a bit easier. When you go for the consultation, make sure to clearly express the parts you want!! If I had only had the line made without fat removal, I think I would’ve been upset because my eyes would have looked subtly puffy~~ ㅠ ㅠ Now I like them with none of that at all haha
