Review of male functional rhinoplasty

I’m someone currently recovering after rhinoplasty at Be The New Plastic Surgery. I had correction of a deviated septum and rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage together. At first, I was only concerned about the external appearance, but during the consultation, I found out that I had a deviated septum. I had often had nasal congestion for a long time, and after waking up, breathing felt uncomfortable; it turns out that was the reason. So I decided on surgery with the mindset of resolving both cosmetic and functional issues at once. Above all, Director Jung Tae-young explained everything so kindly that I trusted him right away. I was also worried about using autologous costal cartilage, but he explained one by one why it was necessary and how the procedure would proceed, so I was able to have surgery with peace of mind. Honestly, I was a bit flustered when the splint came off. The day the splint was removed a few days after surgery really stands out in my memory. To be honest, I went in with huge expectations, but when the splint actually came off and I looked in the mirror, it felt so unfamiliar that I thought, “Is this really my face?” There was swelling, and my impression was different from before, so I was momentarily flustered. But the clinic had told me in advance that “it won’t look natural because of the swelling,” so I calmed myself down and thought, let’s just wait a few days. Really amazingly, after a week and then two weeks passed, the swelling went down, and as it gradually became more natural, I got used to my face! Now breathing is comfortable, and I’m satisfied with the shape.
