Before surgery, I did have double eyelids, but I was concerned because the inner and outer corners of my eyes looked closed off. I hadn’t considered epicanthoplasty because I was worried my impression might change, but I looked into dual canthoplasty, which opens both the outer and lower corners, and during my consultation at Lowell Plastic Surgery, the director recommended doing epicanthoplasty as well, so I had it done together with lateral lower canthoplasty. I liked that I consulted with Director Kim Jae-yoon first before the consultation with the consultant, and it made me feel confident. The recovery process had less bruising or swelling than I expected, and currently only a red scar remains on the epicanthoplasty area. I think returning to daily life should be possible from about one week later, after the stitches are removed. I’ll need to watch the results until three months, but so far, I’m generally very satisfied. People around me also say my eyes look more open and refreshed, and my eyes look bigger in photos too, so I’m satisfied~~ I think they’ll gradually become even more natural and prettier.
