Nasal tip surgery + nostril reduction + rhinitis surgery, from online research to a one-month real, real review!!!! (Note: I wrote a lot of rambling, so it may get boring to read..) <Before nose surgery> As you can see in the pre-op photos, from the front, it felt like my nose spread out more toward the nasal tip? I really hated that. I had a nasal bridge, so I didn't care much about the side profile, and I wanted more improvement from the front..! I searched like crazy for hospitals for a whole day. I think I found about 10 through online research? Then I went for in-person consultations at 4 places I really liked, including this clinic. One place suddenly called the day before the consultation and said I had to change the appointment date, so ㅡㅡ I felt annoyed and skipped it, and I think I only went to 3 places. Honestly, the consultations at all 3 places (this clinic, B, C) were good. But C was unbelievably expensive, so I skipped it, and I was debating between this clinic and B.. Still, the reasons I chose this clinic were: First, I think I liked this clinic's nostril reduction method. A friend who had nostril reduction surgery told me not to do it because it looks really obvious, you know? But as you can see in the photos, seriously, really, literally not even 1 bit obvious The area around the nostril wings doesn't show at all, and for the inner incision area, I think the scar will disappear later if I apply scar ointment well. I really think I was right a hundred times over to choose this place. Second, the consultant was very comfortable to talk to, kind, and took good care of me, and the doctor was kind of quiet but had a gentle vibe? They told me exactly the facts, so I think I trusted them (no pressure). Third, there was no pressure to do unnecessary procedures. I said I didn't want silicone in the bridge and wanted frontal improvement and a natural nasal tip, and they said since I already had a bridge, just doing the tip would probably be fine, and recommended implant-free nasal tip surgery and nostril reduction! There was no pressure for additional procedures from either the consultant or the doctor! Anyway, those three reasons were the biggest, and that's how I ended up scheduling surgery at this clinic. <After surgery> As the surgery date got closer, I kept going back and forth between nervous and excited, and I almost went crazy Day 1, surgery day After washing my face, the nurse? asked if I had brought photos of celebrity nose shapes I wanted, so I handed over the photos. I had saved several photos on my phone, but they said only 3 could be printed (I regretted not printing out several on paper at the time) So I hurriedly chose 3 and sent them over (side-profile photos: Kim Yoo-jung, an influencer, Jung Chae-yeon). After that, during the final re-consultation with the doctor, I think I showed them a bunch of nose shapes I didn't want (mainly front-view) on my phone! Honestly, I should have asked more things then, but I'm an MBTI I.. I could only ask a little before going into surgery (I was super worried and regretful until the day the splint came off because I hadn't explained in detail, afraid it would turn out badly). Then, while I was nervous x18373838, I fell asleep and woke up, and the surgery was over. Because of the rhinitis surgery, I rested at the hospital for a bit and then went home. Days 2-4, a face scarier than a ghost.. It swells sooo much. Seriously, it felt like I got facial contouring surgery, not nose surgery;; It was swollen to a creepy extent and also funny I think I started taking walks from day 3? YouTube said to walk a lot, but for me, it felt like my nose was shaking when I walked, so it didn't feel great, and I got unnecessarily worried. I think you really need to walk slowly? Days 5-7, square-square beam The swelling moved downward, so I became someone hit by a square-square beam. Because of the facial swelling, my lips looked smaller and I became a square person, but my mom said I looked like a baby and was cute and that she liked this face I hate it... mom.. Day 8, the long-awaited splint removal day I'm an extremely dry person, so I was really worried because I heard splint removal hurts, but a male nurse removed it first without making it hurt, so it was okay. The moment the doctor took it off and I looked in the mirror, I think I unconsciously said, ''Wow.. I.. I.. I really like it.'' The doctor casually said, ''I made it exactly the same, right?''... legendary coolness.. I think the doctor is just a total genius;;; They made it exactly like the side-profile photos I showed. Even the front view that I was so worried about was adjusted so it no longer spread toward the nasal tip, and they reduced the nostrils just right too (+ the nostril sizes were matched such a win). One month, Right now, I feel like I've gained a new life, and above all, I'm grateful that they made exactly the nose I wanted: 'a naturally pretty nose that people wouldn't notice unless I told them.'
