<Before surgery><Around 1 month after double-eyelid surgery~><Around 2 months after, just tried taking photos bare-faced>I’ve always liked eyes with double eyelids, so I used eyelid tape many times, but honestly, back then I didn’t have money.. Plastic surgery? It was kind of scary, yeah. So I just lived feeling reasonably satisfied with using eyelid tape. But for me, it wasn’t just about double eyelids. My eyelashes usually poked my eyes so~~ badly, and when I wore makeup, my eyes would tear up enough for it to smudge, so my mom dragged me along and I had surgery for entropion at a university hospital the year before last. Well, it worked for a few months, so it was okay.... But the effect didn’t continue; after only a year, I started feeling my eyelashes poking me again and it became uncomfortable, so I started looking into revision surgery. Since I’d done it at a hospital my mom recommended, I said I couldn’t trust mom’s word anymore (sorry for being an undutiful child..) and that I’d look into it myself, so I searched through plastic surgery apps and communities. As I kept searching, I felt that if I had to lie on the operating table again for entropion surgery anyway, wouldn’t it be better to get double eyelids done at the same time..? That’s what I thought. A somewhat dramatic line didn’t suit my style, so I mainly looked around in person for places that were good at natural-looking results~ But finding a clinic was kind of tricky because I wanted a place that designs lines in my style + can treat entropion + isn’t a factory-style clinic. Looking for all that, I think I researched for almost several months..^^ Still, maybe because I was picky and went for a consultation after researching carefully, when I went to Olo, they designed the line the way I wanted, and after hearing that entropion surgery was possible and that they would provide all the follow-up management and care afterward, I decided. What was unusual was that this clinic’s aftercare also included LDM. Anyway, I went to the consultation with my mom (because it was on mom’s card lol), and my mom also said the consultation was so good that we should’ve come to a plastic surgery clinic earlier. I like natural-looking eyes, so the director and I designed the line that way and I had the surgery. Since it was my first surgery, I had buried-suture double-eyelid surgery, epicanthoplasty, and entropion correction all together! Still, surgery is surgery, and around week 1 the swelling suddenly shot up, so I was surprised and worried, but after getting swelling laser treatment at the clinic, it went right down again~~^^ so fascinating. The entropion correction also showed results right away, so I’m holding up well now without my eyes being poked anymore! After double-eyelid surgery, I threw out all the eyelid tape on my vanity, and if the effect just continues, I don’t think I’ll have any lingering attachment to eye surgery..!! Phew, if I’d known I would be this satisfied, I should’ve gotten it at a plastic surgery clinic earlier~
