Honestly, before the surgery, I didn’t think I’d end up writing a review like this haha Especially because it was revision rhinoplasty, I was even more worried... After my first surgery, the result came out kind of ambiguous, so the nasal bridge line was awkward, and the nasal tip felt a bit blunt and upturned, so every time I took photos, finding the right angle was a whole taskㅠ When I decided to do it again this time, I really went to consultations at so many clinics... I especially worried about whether the nasal tip cartilage would collapse, whether it would turn upward, and whether the columella line would look strange, so I searched all kinds of reviews and mostly consulted places with many revision cases~ In the end, I chose to do both my nose and facial contouring together! For contouring, I did the 3 types: cheekbones + square jaw + chin tip. Honestly, I hadn’t planned on doing contouring too, but while listening to the explanation about my facial balance during the consultation, I ended up thinking, “Ah, let’s just clean everything up this time,” lol Right after surgery, of course the swelling was severe, and the intraoral incision areas felt numb and sensation was a bit dull, but as time passed, all of that naturally disappeared! Especially the intraoral scars don’t show at all now, so people meeting me for the first time wouldn’t know I had facial contouring unless I tell them haha The nose line is exactly the feeling I wanted. You know that feeling where it’s moderately high without being excessive, and from the side, the nasal bridge and nasal tip connect naturally? My cheekbones and jawline were clearly refined too, so it feels like my overall facial silhouette changed to a smoother one!
I especially love that I barely need contour shading when doing makeup, and even when I tie my hair up, it looks neat without my cheekbones standing out like before! Sometimes when I look in the mirror, I wonder, “Was this face originally mine?” It has settled so naturally that I don’t feel anxious anymore. Honestly, early on I felt anxious and had moments of reality hitting me, but now I only think, “Why didn’t I do it sooner?” rather than regret it lol I think doing contouring + nose together was the best move... Now I just smile comfortably in daily life and take photos without feeling burdened!
