Severe asymmetry before surgery. The front chin was narrow, but the area widened sharply as it went upward. Wide forehead and wide cheekbone width ㅠ.ㅠ What I hated most was the asymmetry and how unrefined the contours were ㅠㅠ Desired line Symmetry on both sides when divided vertically in half Overall slim, oval-shaped face Clean line without uneven contours A small face shape, a pretty face shape anyone would recognize as pretty ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Procedures I tried Facial contouring injections: I got ones without steroids, but they only temporarily reduced facial fat and were useless Manual lymphatic massage: seriously no effect.. Lifting: tried two types. Got Ultherapy once and only the facial fat looked slimmer. Titanium briefly improved facial elasticity, but did nothing for the face shape In the end, if contouring is the problem, the bone itself has to be shaved,,,,,,,,,,,, Because I think facial contouring surgery is one of the highest-level procedures among plastic surgeries, I worried more in advance about how painful it would be than about the cost. I filtered out reviews saying it didn’t hurt as ads, and only looked at reviews that honestly said it hurt, but it seemed like the degree of pain people can tolerate differs from person to person. After reading a review saying it felt like someone was hitting different parts of the face with a hammer, I gave up on it for a moment.. But it didn’t take long before I wanted to do it again.. People around me naturally tried to stop me. Because it’s such a major surgery. But every time I opened my mouth, I was like [Should I get facial contouring?? Ah, no,,,, should I really do it? Ah, no, what kind of nonsense am I saying,,,,], so they just told me to go get it done ㅋㅋㅋㅋ큐 So I thought, let’s at least book consultations. I heard doctors these days are honest, so they might tell me I don’t need it. After going around for consultations, Yep. You’re a candidate for all 3 procedures. After getting told “3 procedures” several times in a row, I was like, as expected^^ I should do it. (When I said I wanted a doll-like line, of course all 3 procedures had to come up for that to happen, yeah ㅋㅋ) After surgery, the line I wanted came out exactly like I said above. I want to say, like other people, “It didn’t hurt much~^^ You just have to endure it for a little while~” but I’m the type who can’t tell huge lies, so I’ll say it realistically It hurt like hell for three days and was insanely uncomfortable for a week Bruising, swelling, and pain vary from person to person. It could hurt more than it did for me, or less, but for me, I deeply regretted it until day 3 and felt dazed until the first week Then at one week, I had the sideburn stitches removed and started taking walks, and it got better On day 21, I had the stitches inside my mouth removed and finally felt alive again After that, you really have to think of walking as destroying the swelling and move your legs diligently Since I wasn’t eating well and walked every day, I hit my lowest weight then That was my prime. Though it came back quickly ㅋㅋ At the hospital where I had surgery, they check progress at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 9 months Every time I go for a follow-up, I feel relieved seeing that it turned out cleanly and well. Now I only need the 6-month and 9-month follow-ups But even after that, I plan to voluntarily visit and keep monitoring my progress
