Do they usually not correct crooked noses well at that clinic?? At the 3 places I went to so far, they all took CT scans and said my nasal septum is slightly deviated. They said it isn’t severe enough to call it a deviated septum, but that they would lift the nasal septum and align the symmetry. But at that clinic, they said if I’m going to do it, I’d need additional surgery for a deviated nasal septum. Maybe because they didn’t take a CT, they didn’t say the septum was deviated, and just said it’s because of facial asymmetry, that they can’t fix it, and that if I have surgery, the crooked nose will look even more noticeable. (Other clinics also said the same thing about my face being asymmetric and that if I have surgery, the crooked nose could become a bit more noticeableㅜ They did say that.) So I’m conflicted ㅠㅠㅠ I don’t know if they usually don’t correct it well or what ㅠㅠ
뚜두뚜루1 The director at that clinic is a bit unfriendlyㅠ
임삥뽕 [@뚜두뚜루1] Rightㅋㅋ Yeah, it’s kind of a way of talking that leaves you with nothing to say. It feels like you have to leave everything completely up to the director. Since they seem that confident, it also somehow makes me trust them more, so I’m even more confusedㅠ
익명 I went there for a consultation, and the director is also a bit conservative. If someone really has facial asymmetry, the nose often comes out looking crooked, so I don’t think they were making things up. If they think the surgery won’t turn out well, they just say it as it is. I ended up not having surgery, though.
임삥뽕 [@] Exactlyㅠㅜ Since it’s not like they made it up, I’m even more conflicted. Other places said they’d slightly adjust it while lifting the nasal septum, but the director there didn’t really say anything like that. I do think they would probably adjust it a bit to some extent, thoughㅠ
냐옹냐옹검냥이 I’m going for a consultation at that clinic soon, and I’m worried because people say the director is a bit unfriendlyㅜㅜ
굴곤 Rather than being unfriendly, the director there seems to just speak honestly. Kind of like blunt truth-telling.
임삥뽕 [@굴곤] Yeahㅋㅋ Organize your questions well before you go
익미엉 I had eye and nose surgery here, and should I say it’s the opposite of other clinics..? Some clinics are extremely kind during consultations but then act like they don’t know you after surgery. This place is brutally blunt during the consultation and super chic, but once you put down the deposit, have surgery, and keep going through aftercare, they gradually become kinderㅋㅋ
나의눈코입123 Where are you going to do it in the end? I also had a consultation at that clinic, and every other clinic said it was a deviated septum and told me to have surgery, but here they said my nasal axis is tilted, so even if I do it, it won’t be effective, and they didn’t recommend it.
