I didn’t usually notice it much, but I had been stressed because whenever I smiled, the fat under my eyes looked like it overlapped in two lines. Normally I would just be aware of it and move on, but recently I happened to see myself in a photo and was shocked, which made me seriously become interested in under-eye fat repositioning surgery. I searched for various information online and realized that my eyes were a typical case that needed fat repositioning, and I also had consultations at about 2 to 3 places in my area. However, it was difficult to feel trust in the surgical methods, explanations, and the doctors’ attitudes, so I couldn’t decide on surgery. Then I had a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic in Seoul, and I decided to have surgery because I felt deep trust in the fact that they used one of their surgical methods called the “septum reinforcement method,” and because the doctor honestly explained, “If something can’t be done, it can’t be done,” rather than pushing excessive procedures. Honestly, I had a lot of worries before the surgery, but I’m very satisfied with the result. First of all, the phenomenon where the area under my eyes looked like it overlapped in two lines when I smiled completely disappeared, and when I compared the before-and-after photos, I realized all over again how heavy and congested my under-eye area had looked. Before surgery, the fat under my eyes protruded and made the area look swollen and puffy, but after surgery, that area was arranged very naturally and neatly, so it looks much less heavy. Also, the aegyo-sal that had almost disappeared before came back naturally, and the hollowed front cheek area gained volume, making my impression look much healthier and more lively. Through this surgery, my facial impression improved naturally, and most of all, I’m satisfied that the under-eye line, which had been a major source of stress, became clean and neat.
