Nose surgery after rhinitis surgery that turned into a saddle nose! My dad’s middle-age rhinoplasty story

I’m not sure if there are people checking out middle-age surgery here either 😢. I’m writing this because, since your parents might also have a chance to have middle-age rhinoplasty, you should check well and proceed carefully! My dad had septal deviation before, and his rhinitis was quite severe, so he seemed to be suffering a lot; mom suggested surgery, and after I checked the hospital, he had rhinitis surgery. I still don’t really know what went wrong during that process... but it turned into a saddle nose. I went in person and argued a lot, but that hospital kept saying to just wait and observe for a year. Yet if you look at the photos, you can see it was hollowed and deeply sunken inward, and my dad was very uncomfortable. So in the end, after researching, he got nasal reconstructive surgery at ItsBee.

Because the septum was in a destroyed state, that is why the saddle nose happened, and they rebuilt it with autologous costal cartilage. My dad is older, so I was really worried. There is so little information available on middle-age rhinoplasty, and our family went through a lot of stress, but fortunately now he says breathing is much better, and from what I can see, he looks much improved compared to before, so I decided to post this. For everyone who is considering surgery on your parents’ faces, please please think very carefully and do it cautiously, truly..
