I originally had 1.25 astigmatism in both eyes and my vision was around -6.5, but I heard that SMILE LASIK was the best and had the fastest recovery. People around me all got SMILE LASIK at the same clinic and had good reviews, so I followed them and got it done, but it was really not good at all. It’s been 6 months and my vision is 0.9, but when I look at text it isn’t clear, as if some astigmatism is still left (except for large letters), and if I use my eyes even a little too long, they feel stiff and tired. You need to get around 1.2 vision to feel satisfied after surgery, so 0.9 is very disappointing. They say a revision surgery is impossible too, so if I could go back, I would get LASEK ㅜㅜ I only found out after surgery that LASEK is better for eyes with astigmatism. And the surgeon’s skill is definitely more important, so ㅠㅜ choose the chief director or a surgeon who mainly performs the procedure and get surgery from them.
