The natural adhesion double eyelid surgery I had as my first surgery at another clinic came undone after 7 years, so while I was looking into revision surgery, I saw online that this place was famous as a revision surgery specialist clinic, so I visited. At the time, I went to four clinics including this one, and the other clinics all said it would be a shame to do an incision and recommended a non-incisional method, but only this place recommended an incision. Because the director seemed so confident, I don't know what came over me, but this place felt special, so I chose to have surgery there. Looking back now, having a full incision then was the beginning of a nightmare... I really, really regret it. If you receive consultations at several places and only one place gives a particularly different opinion, that may not mean it is special but that it could be the wrong answer.. I am feeling that painfully. As a result, because of the full incision at that time, my eyes became an extreme case with mucosal eversion, triangular eyes, sausage-like eyelids, splitting at the end of the line, depressed scars from skin excision, and so on, so I had revision surgery at another clinic. I also went back to this clinic and tried to talk to them, but the director said it turned out well and asked why I was being so sensitive, got angry, and turned away and left before I had even finished speaking... Of course, surgical results can differ from person to person, but I was extremely disappointed by the clinic's postoperative response. Thanks to this clinic, I learned that before deciding on surgery, it is essential to consider not only the doctor's skill, but also whether the clinic can accept the patient's opinion if the surgical outcome differs from expectations, and whether it is a clinic that can find a reasonable compromise. The director's attitude from back then still remains as trauma, so now when I consider a clinic, I prioritize checking the director's character.
