I had double eyelid surgery in January with the buried suture method + upper epicanthoplasty. Back then I thought it was a scar and left it alone, but even after 5 months it hasn’t gone away. Yesterday, I applied scar ointment for the first time and got worried, so I kept touching it, and it became even redder and more swollenㅠㅠ It stings slightly when I touch it. Could it be a bunched-up stitch? Does anyone know what this is???ㅜㅜ It’s raised like that on the double eyelid line. In a case like this, what should I tell the clinic? Is this the clinic’s responsibility?
익명 It looks like there’s something white inside. Maybe you could go to a dermatologist, explain the situation, and get laser treatment?
호듀마루 Go to the clinic where you had the surgery and ask them. It could just be milia.
아기승지 What does the clinic say?? ㅠㅠ
스퓨마 I had mine done with the natural adhesion method, and even after 10 years it’s still like that... Of course, the raised bump has gone down a lot, but there’s still a trace of it ㅜㅜ I don’t remember exactly, but when I told the clinic back then, I think they said it was where the stitch was tied.
옹디음 It also looks like a flat wart, but if it appeared during surgery, maybe it’s scar tissue ㅠ Anyway, wouldn’t it be best to visit the clinic first?
파파민 If you don’t deal with it early, it won’t go away ㅠ Go quickly, it’ll be too late.
모두잘하자 [@아기승지] They said there wasn’t anything seriously wrong for now, so they gave me an anti-inflammatory injection and told me to apply eye ointment well. It’s gone down a lot now.
모두잘하자 [@스퓨마] I also asked if it was a stitch, but they said it didn’t seem to be a stitch, so I’m just monitoring the progress for nowㅜ
