Everyone, isn’t it so hard to find information on lateral canthoplasty restoration? Everything sounds like brokers talking, and there don’t seem to be any real reviews haha.. About 5 years ago, I had lateral canthoplasty at an animal hospital..^^ and it failed Seriously.. lol what even were my eyes……… They just turned into a crazy ㄷ-shape, sigh.. I’m pretty insensitive by nature, so I just lived with it, but at some point I realized I couldn’t anymore Once it started bothering me, I kept trying to cover it, and I felt embarrassed.. And in winter, tears kept flowing out to the sides When I asked the director, he said the eye angle was tilted too much, so tears weren’t draining into the tear duct and were flowing backward instead I really felt like I couldn’t keep going like that, so I had surgery But lateral canthoplasty restoration is seriously.. expensive.. Both of my eyes did have a ㄷ-shape, but one side wasn’t extremely severe and was still somewhat acceptable, while the other side was really serious, so I looked into doing only one side I don’t know if I only went to expensive places, but every place I visited quoted the low 2 million won range for one side At first, I went to ㅈㅇ, but the consultant was hmm.. I kind of felt like she was looking down on me because I’m young, so I ruled it out, though the director was okay I had surgery at the second hospital I went to. The consultant was just ordinary, and the director felt a bit cold? but I think he’s the tsundere type Because at first I just thought he was a cold person, but there was something that really touched me (I’m really not a broker) After the surgery, I visited the hospital 4 times before getting the stitches removed..? Honestly, they usually don’t call you in that often.. But every time I went, the director checked my progress, very thoroughly.. It kind of felt like he was looking at his own work? lol When I first booked the surgery, the consultant said their schedule was full for about a week, not because they had tons of surgeries, but because they had lots of follow-ups and things like that.. and trailed off, but honestly, at this level I can see why lolololol And I had something to ask, so I messaged the plastic surgery clinic on KakaoTalk, and the director personally appeared and replied lolololololololol Honestly, there are so many hospitals that just ignore you after surgery.. But since they checked my progress so carefully like this, it felt like they were taking care of me, and I was touched I also got swelling injections and swelling laser treatment every time I visited, so at first I was seriously super swollen like someone who had double eyelid surgery, but it went down a lot! But I don’t think it’s 100% gone yet I didn’t get conjunctival edema, and my eyes were a bit uncomfortable for a few days, but it wasn’t to the point where I couldn’t go about daily life. But if you do both eyes, daily life might be difficult.. It didn’t hurt after surgery, but they put you briefly under sedation and then do local anesthesia..? Sigh, but because I had had my eyes touched several times, they said the anesthesia didn’t take well They said they used 2.5 times the usual amount of anesthetic for surgery, but it still hurt so much I thought I was going to die. I kept saying it hurts too much.. so the director added more medication.. But it still hurt again I just wanted the shape to at least become normal, and right now there is zero gaping, so I’m satisfied!! There is a darkish scar at the outer corner, but it’s disappearing quickly, so I’m not really worried..? Sigh, after doing one side, I want to do the other side too, but the money.. lol So please.. if you’re going to get lateral canthoplasty, research it well!!! Don’t fail like me and spend three times the money, sigh
