Just like the title says, I’m booking all the appointments, but after looking at this community, there are so many failed cases that I’m anxious.. Among eye surgeries, is epicanthoplasty restoration the most difficult surgery? Is it harder than rhinoplasty? Looking at rhinoplasty too, it seems like most people end up getting revision surgery. Is epicanthoplasty restoration like that too?
째니니 Yeah, I think epicanthoplasty restoration is really a difficult surgery. I just thought of it lightly, like getting rid of the slight Mongolian fold I had, but after going around to consultations and hearing about it, it wasn’t a simple surgery. First of all, the recovery period is long, and I think the chance of scarring isn’t low either..

극한눈살려줘 A doctor who refused to operate on my eyes said that the inner corner of the eye is all connected to the nose, glabella, and forehead muscles, so we just don’t realize it, but it’s actually one of the muscles we use the most. They said that even if the surgery goes well, the skin stays moist because of the lacrimal gland, so scars form easily and such. That’s why, when doing epicanthoplasty, cautious doctors start with forehead Botox first before proceeding.
람 Doctors also often don’t really do epicanthoplasty restoration.. There’s a large range where the outcome is hard to predict.. I personally regret having done it too

깜빙 It definitely is difficult, but honestly the shape keeps changing even up to months 2-3, so until then you really can’t know whether it failed or whatㅠㅠ
