I decided on double eyelid surgery after using double eyelid tape every day until my skin started oozing

I had incisional double eyelid surgery with Director Cho Yong-jin, and I openly tell people around me that I had cosmetic surgery. At first there was swelling and it was a bit noticeable, but people I know said my eyes got so much bigger, and that even with swelling they could tell it turned out well. Now it has mostly settled, so when I say I had it done, I often hear people say they thought I hadn’t. (I’m so happy because my eyes got naturally bigger, exactly the way I wanted.) The reason I got double eyelid surgery was that after applying double eyelid tape every day for 8 years, my skin started oozing, and later it got to the point where the tape would fall off right away even if I applied it. Then I was looking at reviews and found someone really similar to me, so I booked a consultation right away. To be honest, I had a reservation at another hospital too, but after getting a consultation at Top Tier Plastic Surgery Clinic, I immediately canceled the other one. During the consultation, the consultant was really kind, and even though there was a difference of opinion with my parents, she waited through all of that. And on the day of surgery, they kept checking on me, and the atmosphere was comfortable, so I felt less nervous. Overall, it felt trustworthy, so I ended up leaving everything to them. So far, I’m satisfied with the results and recovery is going well, so I feel relieved. If you have the budget, I think it would be good to do medial epicanthoplasty together too. I didn’t have the financial leeway, so I couldn’t do medial epicanthoplasty, but I’m still fully satisfied with just the double eyelid surgery. If the consultant or director recommends it, just do it… I hope this can be even a little helpful to people with similar concerns!
