I don’t know if it’s possible, but what I want is.... - A moderately high in-out line (or semi-out is fine too!!) - I want to do all the canthoplasty procedures possible, but I absolutely hate the lacrimal caruncle showing or a ㄷ-shaped look - I want the line to be clearly visible when seen from the front I definitely want a clear before-and-after difference, but I don’t like it looking obvious, so haha I’m very picky and really went around diligently for consultations *Apgujeong ㅋㅇ In-out incision, epicanthoplasty, candy canthoplasty (lateral + lower canthoplasty) Consultation time: 20-30 minutes total (including consultation with the consultant and the director) Wait: None Consultation review: This was a clinic where the consultation with the consultant was longer, and the director tended to speak briefly and clearly only about the surgical aspects It seems like this place is the only one that does something called candy canthoplasty, and it looked very natural, so half of me found it fascinating, But it felt like there wasn’t as much difference as I expected…..??? so I wondered if it was right for me since I want a clear change ㅠㅠ Instead of doing both front and back canthoplasty, the director said they would set the line naturally I never thought I had an epicanthal fold normally, but they said that with my eyes, if the line is set, the epicanthal fold tends to look more severe, so they recommended doing epicanthoplasty too Reservation: There was some same-day pressure to book (they also called once more in the afternoon after the consultation) But when I said I wouldn’t do it, they didn’t exactly hold onto me….??? I was acting a bit ambiguous, so maybe that’s why the consultant kept contacting me ㅠㅠ *Apgujeong ㅇㄹ In-out incision, lateral + lower canthoplasty Consultation time: 30-40 minutes total (including the consultant and director) Wait: 10 minutes (I filled out a simple medical questionnaire? and waited a bit; there were a lot of people so it probably couldn’t be helpedㅠ Still, I heard some other clinics make you wait even an hour, so this much is fine…..) Consultation review: I felt they set everything naturally, whether it was the line or the canthoplasty It felt like the director doesn’t really recommend reckless surgery?? Since I’d had a few consultations already, I’d gotten the hang of it, so I kind of provoked? the directorㅋㅋㅋ asking all sorts of things like, “What about this?” “What about that?” But I liked that they honestly told me, “If you do it this way, the lacrimal caruncle will show,” and “If you do it this way, it will only irritate the eyelid skin more and won’t have any effect” They did not recommend epicanthoplasty. The director explained most of the details Reservation: There was same-day pressure to book But they didn’t push in a burdensome way.... When I said I wanted to think about it more, the consultant said OK *Gangnam ㅇㄹㅇ Semi-out incision, epicanthoplasty, lateral + lower canthoplasty Consultation time: About 20 minutes.....??? It felt like the shortest among all the places I went Wait: About 15-20 minutes Consultation review: What I remember most is that they strongly recommended incision hereㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’d already been recommended incision at other clinics too, so I knew I should do itㅇㅇ The director said firmly that non-incisional would almost 100% come undone And the director set it as a semi-out line, but to my eyes it was closer to an out line…. They set that kind of line for me… It wasn’t worse than I expected, but even if I like it right now, I feel like I might get tired of it after n years ㅠㅠ So I guess our aesthetic tastes didn’t match The director speaks very firmly, so I think this would suit everyone who likes that kind of style! In terms of the directors’ tendencies, I liked ㅇㄹㅇ and ㅇㄹ, and in terms of the line, I liked ㅋㅇ and ㅇㄹ, so I’m in total chaos.... Does anyone know how ㅍㅇ and ㄱㄴㅅㅇ are?? They do seem to do things naturally, but there aren’t many reviews, so I’m unsure ㅠㅠ Please recommend more good places to go for consultations
