I had square jaw and cheekbone surgery together, and I seriously thought, wow, it really is possible for a person’s face to change… I don’t think I would have known if I hadn’t tried it myself.. People who’ve done it know, right? After surgery, every time you look in the mirror, it feels like… uh… is this really me…? At first, I really didn’t want to look in the mirror. The swelling was one thing, but you know that strange numb, blocked feeling inside the mouth and the stiff ache under the jaw. Honestly, there were days when I wondered, why did I do this? But anything is hard at first lol The real part starts here. People at work started saying one by one, hey, the whole feel of your face changed a lot. But it wasn’t an obvious “I had something done” kind of change, more like my overall impression looked more refined? Even the way people describe me changed lol Before, they’d say I looked a bit sharp, but now I hear things like, you look softer. Even if other people don’t seem to know, what the person next to you says is the most accurate lol After finishing all my skin care, now I’m thinking about scalp care too lol What’s really funny is that I only had facial contouring surgery, but that became the trigger for my entire self-care routine to change. This is just a summary of my personal experience, so please just use it as a reference~ I went around mainly to places that do a lot of facial contouring and had it done at ㅇㅇㄷ, and I hope it helps even a little.
