Cheekbone Surgery Reviews@cheekbone-review

I got over my face-shape obsession with facial contouring

<Before><After><After>I don’t know if it shows well in the pre-op photo, but I had some asymmetry, and although my facial contour wasn’t huge and my square jaw or cheekbones didn’t protrude a lot, my facial line was so uneven that I got facial contouring done. I work in design, so I’m someone who gets obsessed with “lines” and “points,” and if something is uneven or even slightly out of position, I notice it right away, you know? Since my own face was like that, every time I looked in the mirror, I wanted facial contouring so badly. Because of scary stories saying that after facial contouring, you might not be able to open your mouth well, I thought about it for a long time, but thankfully now I can open my mouth wide just fine.. Actually, my mom has also gotten treatments or surgeries little by little, so she was pretty flexible about plastic surgery, but she really tried to stop me from facial contouring^^;; I guess it was because the area is so broad and it’s a risky surgery, but they say no parent can beat their child, and when I cried like a kid saying I wanted it so badly, my mom finally gave up with both hands and both feet and allowed itㅎ I told her not to worry and that I would make sure there were no problems so I wouldn’t become an unfavorable case, but honestly, it was my first facial contouring surgery too, so I really went around to a lot of hospitals for consultations.. Of course, I checked the directors’ experience, and I also got a feel for the atmosphere by reading reviews. Because I thought the surgery had to go well from the start, aftercare was actually secondary. People said that just because a place is very expensive doesn’t mean it’s necessarily good, and just because a place is cheap doesn’t mean it’s terrible, so I think I felt that the more places I visited, the more it would benefit me. After thinking about it until the very end, I completed 3-part facial contouring (cheekbones, square jaw, chin). I could tell at a glance that the line had become cleaner haha I’m walking around like a normal person now, but in the early days after surgery, I was really dazed and numb, like someone had hit me hard. My mom was so worried that I didn’t pretend to be in pain for no reason, but honestly, during the first week, chewing and eating were hard, and even the spoon felt heavy when I ate thin rice porridge. When I was home, my mom took care of me, but when she wasn’t there, I’d be alone feeling down and shed a few tears ㅋㅋ I thought I was okay, but after removing the intraoral stitches, the swelling dropped a lot starting from week 2. After removing the stitches inside my mouth, the swelling under my jaw also went down well, and I practiced opening my mouth steadily while looking in the mirror. The hospital said I didn’t necessarily have to do anything special, but just in case, I kept doing jaw stretches too. I just wore the compression band. They said that after wearing the compression band, scalp massage could also help prevent hair loss, so I did scalp massages too. I walked, adjusted my diet, and really worked hard on swelling care. While avoiding spicy and salty foods, I realized it’s important to build habits like this in daily life too. But really, the surgery itself doesn’t hurt. It was actually a short surgery, but the bruising and swelling were what made it hard. As time passes, a moment comes when you think, “It was hard, but I’m glad I did it.” Once the swelling started going down, I was so satisfied seeing the contour take shape. If anyone is thinking about it, I want to tell them to visit several hospitals and decide carefully~~
