My mom had incisional double eyelid surgery and lateral canthoplasty a very~ long time ago, but as she got older, the skin above her eyes sagged, so she eventually had upper blepharoplasty together with eye revision surgery hahahaha But it turned out much better than expected, so I’m really relieved,, It wasn’t even my own surgery, but because it was my mom’s eyes, I was so worried,,, First of all, as my mom got older and her eyes started drooping, she was thinking about upper blepharoplasty and an outline double eyelid! My older sister and I went with her to the consultations. At first, after getting a consultation at one place, she was going to decide right away, but my sister said, “Still, wouldn’t it be better to go to several places?” so we found three more places and went. Even after that, my mom’s choice was still the first place she consulted at,, lololol I think she liked most that the director was a woman. Anyway, after getting the consultation, for my mom’s eyes, it seemed best to do upper blepharoplasty plus upper canthoplasty + ptosis correction! After my mom heard the explanation, she said that sounded right too. She’s still in the recovery stage, so there’s still some swelling, but even so, she looks much better than before. Oh, and as someone who went together from the consultation through the surgery, when taking your parents for eye consultations, I definitely recommend going with them,, It may differ by director or clinic, but sometimes there are directors who recommend all sorts of things that make you think, “Is that really necessary?” and some who explain things really roughly.. Even I felt confused while listening to explanations at consultations, so thinking about my mom going alone and hearing all that makes me feel dizzyㅠ Of course, it might all be necessary, but at least I wish they would explain why it’s needed when recommending it.. That’s kind of how I felt.. In any case, the surgery went well, and I’m so relieved that our lady is satisfied nowㅏ...
