At first, I got double-eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method, but it looked too much like an inner double eyelid, so I got greedy and had incisional surgery to make it about an in-out to outfold line. For the first 2 years, I thought my double-eyelid surgery had gone wrong. My eyes looked way too swollen, and in the beginning there were times when my eyes didn’t close well when I slept. I even got things like double-eyelid swelling injectionsㅜ I wanted to go back to how I looked before so badly and I was really depressed, but now that 5 years have passed, I think getting double-eyelid surgery was the right choice. The unnatural-looking scars have settled down, and over time the line has come down a lot, so people who don’t know much about cosmetic surgery even ask me if I had double-eyelid surgery. People around me also tell me a lot that my eyes are pretty. It may simply be that my skin type takes a long time to heal, but I remembered how hard things were for me because of my eyes in the past, so I’m writing this to encourage people like me.
