My eyes weren’t originally super small, you know~ But the line was faint, and I guess my eyes felt a bit stuffy? I was unhappy that whenever I took photos, my eyes always looked heavyㅠ I have rhinitis, so I usually wear a mask when taking the bus or subway, and since only my eyes show when I wear a mask, I became even more conscious of them… During the consultation, I said I wanted the line to look more defined, and I was recommended non-incisional ptosis correction together with epicanthoplasty. When I first heard it, I wondered, wouldn’t that be too much? But after actually doing it and seeing the result, all I can think is that this combination was perfect!!! The line came out natural, and maybe thanks to the epicanthoplasty, the closed-off feeling at the inner corners of my eyes disappeared too, so the impression from my pupils to the outer corners seems to have changed into a clearer, more open look! The speed at which swelling goes down probably varies by person, but for me, from about 2–3 weeks, it settled to the point where it was barely noticeable even with my eyes closed. These days, I hear a lot that my eyes look really defined even with no makeupㅋㅋ I had the surgery with Director Lee Moon-gi at ㅇㅇㄷ, and while looking at my eye condition, he explained first, like, this muscle on this side lacks strength, so your eyes can feel heavy when opening them~ He explained the cause first in that way, and showed me with sketches how it would improve, including the line, so I liked that and made my decision quickly~ During the recovery period, I also managed it as the hospital told me, used ice packs, pumpkin juice, and ointment properly, and even though my skin is sensitive, I think it passed smoothly without any particular trouble! These days, the best thing when doing makeup is that the line has settled well, so the position and shape for drawing eyeliner have become much easier than before. Before, even when I worked really hard on eye makeup, there were so many moments when I thought, why do my eyes look so small~ But now they look defined even if I just curl my eyelashes, so that’s what I’m most satisfied withㅎㅎ
