Finally, after the 7 days of mental struggle passed, I got the splint removed today. When the splint was on, I was worried it might be too low, but thankfully it doesn’t seem low. During the consultation right before going into the operating room for the last time, I said I still wanted it to be noticeable, and I think they reflected that..! I had revision surgery, and for my first surgery I really knew nothing and just asked for it to look glamorous, but the nasal bridge was set too high, and they used ear cartilage and septal cartilage, but in less than a year my nasal tip collapsed. My nose became longer, so my midface also looked longer. The asymmetry of my nostrils was stressful too. My nasal tip drooped, my nose was also crooked, and breathing through one nostril was so difficult that after 5 years I prepared for revision surgery and had it done together as functional nose surgery. This time I wanted it to be my last, so I used autologous costal cartilage. It’s still day 7, and the nasal tip is still lifted, so I think it’ll be okay if it just comes down slightly. (It looks lifted because of swelling, right..?) Please look at the photos and judge whether it will come down a bit more..!
