5 years ago, before getting hired at a company, I had under-eye fat repositioning, which they said was a procedure with quick recovery (they said this is fixed with threads too?), and Candy canthoplasty. They said Candy canthoplasty was a non-incisional procedure, but it is surgery where threads are tied to muscles around the eye and fixed toward the cheekbone side to pull the eye shape. I didn’t know anything and did it because the photos looked pretty, and it was pretty. When I stayed still, I really liked it and it looked pretty, but when I smiled, it wrinkled up in a really creepy way. At that time, the consultation manager said she had done it too and smiled to show me, saying it wasn’t a side effect, but she clearly hadn’t done it, because there was no way to smile normally. After getting hired, I didn’t have time, so I just kept worrying about it, but it was too creepy and uncomfortable, so 1 year later I restored it without sleep anesthesia. Since I had done under-eye fat repositioning together, that area was fixed with threads and is still the same, and I only released the lower part, but I think it did get restored. In conclusion, I haven’t tried incisional lateral canthoplasty, but if I’m only talking about non-incisional lateral canthoplasty, it only wastes your money and body, and I don’t want to recommend it.
