Non-incisional ptosis correction (review of multiple-knot method)

Honestly, even 1 star feels like too much. If you’re someone reading this review, absolutely do not do your life here. If the location is Jeongja Station, you’ll know right away. You can really get into serious trouble. I had non-incisional ptosis correction. -Surgery date: February 2025 -Current: over 4 months have passed I went to the clinic a total of 3 to 5 times asking them to loosen it. I was so angry and frustrated even after repeatedly asking them to loosen it that my parents came with me too. But they told my parents the same thing, that it couldn’t be done. From week 1 after surgery, I felt like I was ruined, and every time I opened my eyes it felt like my eyeballs were flipping over. I cried and pleaded with them to loosen it immediately. At that time, the swelling was severe, so of course there was no point in saying whether I liked it or not, but I felt like the fixation was deep, and because of that I suspected the ptosis correction was affecting the Muller’s muscle, so I asked them to loosen it. I even cried while asking them to loosen it, but one nurse saw me crying and smirked? When I asked, “Are you laughing?” she suddenly became expressionless and said, “I wasn’t laughing?” The doctor looked at me, and it seemed like he probably had another appointment afterward, so he seemed busy and showed absolutely no sign of trying to listen to my story. When I talked about Muller’s muscle symptoms, he instead said to me that these days people read about all sorts of symptoms online and come in asking if it’s a side effect, but his surgical method has never failed even once. He told me to trust him a little more and wait, then just gave me eye drops and anti-inflammatory medicine? and sent me away. And when the doctor wasn’t there, the consultant scared me. She said if they loosened it, it would be neither here nor there, and because it wasn’t a single-knot method but a multiple-knot method, they would have to rummage all through the eye to find the sutures, so it could become even stranger than now and she couldn’t guarantee anything. +++ Before surgery, I didn’t even know that non-incisional surgery could be single-knot or multiple-knot. I first heard it when I asked them to loosen it, and if I had known I was getting the multiple-knot method, I absolutely would not have had surgery here. Because one of the reasons I chose non-incisional was that if I didn’t like it, it could be loosened. But when I asked them to loosen it, they said the director’s surgical method is special and different from other places, or whatever. They should have told me that during the consultation before surgery. That was when I first found out my surgical method was not single-knot but multiple-knot!!! In a recent review, someone said they only had a consultation with the consultant. Yes, I was the same. I only had a consultation with the consultant, and I saw the director on the day of surgery. We didn’t even talk for 1 minute before the surgery started. I regret so much that I didn’t recognize right then that something felt off. I went because an acquaintance introduced me, so I just trusted them and did it. Make sure you consult at several places, and only get surgery after having enough consultation with the doctor in charge before surgery. Seriously.. The doctor is very stubborn and doesn’t want to admit his surgery failed. He has pride in his own surgical method, saying it’s his unique method.... He says he has only ever had exactly one experience of loosening it. That case must have had a real functional problem. But from the doctor’s point of view, he is convinced my eyes are swollen because I cried and that they turned out very well. He thinks they look totally fine. He said there must be a reason he has been in this same neighborhood for over 20 years, and told me to trust him and wait. I suddenly asked him to loosen it, and he started bragging about himself. For now, I kept going every week because I was anxious that it had to be loosened before adhesions formed, and I think I went alone about 3 times. Same reaction, annoyed attitude, and the consultant openly told me that acting like this was harming the clinic. Seriously, how could I not end up mentally unwell? At first I resented the doctor, but in the end I blamed myself for getting double-eyelid surgery, and I felt like I wanted to die so badly. Four months passed while I was under so much stress. Honestly, I was satisfied with my face, and everyone around me told me not to do it, but I ended up blaming myself for doing it. My face became so strange, and they set a line that doesn’t suit my face... I got double-eyelid surgery because I wanted to become prettier, not because I imagined being left with side effects and having this impression and this face. Even if I ask them to loosen it, they can’t, and anyone can see the mucosal eversion is severe. Even when I use an eyelash curler, the eversion gets worse, so I can’t do it. I seriously want to die. It’s so hard. I’m honestly still so angry and stressed right now. After having surgery in February, I even considered taking a leave of absence if they would loosen it. The last time I visited with my parents, he promised me to trust him and wait just 2 more months, saying that after that, if I still didn’t like it, he would loosen it. That much certainty... stubbornness... ha... So the reason I was worried and asked them to loosen it quickly was because of adhesions, but he said this can be done with filler or something. I have truly never heard of that in my life. For now, I’m going to the clinic the week after next, when it will have been over 4 months. Right now everything is a complete mess: mucosal eversion and the accumulated fatigue from it, stinging eyes, dry eye syndrome, forehead tightness, a line and impression I don’t like. I’m really curious what they’ll say when I go this time. The doctor might think that since the patient wanted it, he just has to loosen it, and I’m truly scared he’ll make my eyes even stranger, cause necrosis, or really leave knife marks... People around me said it’s better to have the surgeon who did the surgery look for the sutures, so I think I’ll get a consultation first and then decide... I miss my old eyes... Don’t get surgery carelessly..
