I had a consultation about removing nasal implants and adjusting the angle of contracture, etc. Without taking a CT scan or touching my nose, the doctor looked at it visually and wrote the consultation notes. There was no pressure to have surgery, so he seemed conscientious, and it felt like he followed the patient's opinion more than the doctor's own opinion. He said that after surgery, the nose could become upturned again or revision surgery might be needed. The cost was a bit high, but I was grateful that he spoke honestly (that revision surgery may be needed). The only things I was concerned about were the high cost + the fact that it could become upturned again later and revision surgery might be needed (no A/S).
