A male friend had his first nose surgery here and it went well, so I got a referral and went for a revision surgery consultation. It was probably around 2020, and my reason for revision surgery was dissatisfaction with the shape. My first surgery at another hospital went badly because they used septal cartilage, so I went to the consultation thinking I would use autologous costal cartilage for a more dramatic revision, but they very strongly recommended using ear cartilage instead of autologous costal cartilage... so I gave up on having surgery here. I’m sure there are many people who got good results with ear cartilage here, but I’m really wondering why they didn’t want to use costal cartilage.
