7-month review of cheekbone, jaw, and lifting surgery

I had surgery on December 24 last year, so it’s now been about 7 months. I had jaw surgery, scalp-approach cheekbone surgery, and lifting surgery at a place famous for two-jawline contouring. If you search, you’ll probably find my previous reviews too. I wrote some around week 6 and month 3~ I think I understand why doctors tell you to wait until around 6 months. Even after 3-4 months, I thought my face had improved a lot, but I was still a little dissatisfied. Compared with the surgery cost being well over ten million won, I felt my face hadn’t changed that much. People around me couldn’t even tell I’d had surgery. My face also seemed a little asymmetrical, so I would feel good and then turn around and feel bad again, repeatedly. Compared with before surgery, my complexes definitely disappeared a lot, but I think it was because it still wasn’t enough for me to be satisfied. Now that it’s been about 7 months, I feel like I’ve upgraded one level. People around me also say I definitely got prettier somehow, and my satisfaction has gone up to almost 90%. First, the facial asymmetry that I was half worried might be swelling or a botched surgery has perfectly evened out. (I think asymmetry is a temporary phenomenon caused by swelling, if the surgery was done properly.) But I still sometimes hear a clicking sound from my right cheekbone. Only the side cheekbones disappeared, so instead of a long face, I got a three-dimensional cheekbone shape. Of course my anterior cheekbones didn’t protrude, but as the cheekbones subtly got smaller, they looked more three-dimensional. For the jaw, it wasn’t full mandibular contouring or V-line chin-tip surgery. I just had the jaw next to the ears shaved down lengthwise, and thankfully I didn’t get a secondary angle or a dog jaw. Jaw swelling also lasts surprisingly long. There was swelling only on the right side, like I had candy in my mouth, but after 6 months this is gradually disappearing too. I don’t have any cheek sagging at all yet. Because I had lifting done, it looks firmer than before. If it weren’t for the pressure on the head, I’d recommend lifting. (The area where hair fell out has grown new hair, but it hasn’t grown much yet, so it all looks like baby hairs.) Overall, rather than gradually getting prettier, I think it happens in steps. Even if it seems the same, after a certain point there suddenly comes a moment when you really like it. I think that’s the 6 months and 1 year that doctors emphasize. Right now I’m satisfied enough that I don’t regret the surgery cost at all. I’ll leave another review at the 1-year mark about how it has changed~~
