The doctor’s tendency seems to be to avoid overdoing it and make things as safe as possible. It felt like they preferred donated dermis more than costal cartilage or artificial implants, and it seemed like they would create a comfortable nose with the long term in mind, but because of the issues with my nose, it felt a bit insufficient, so I’m not having surgery here, but I thought about it a lot.
