It has now been almost a month since I had my second breast revision surgery at a plastic surgery clinic. I regret not having had my surgery here from the beginning ㅠㅠ After my first breast surgery at a large hospital through an inframammary incision, I developed bottoming out and was told I needed revision surgery, so I had it done. But even after that, I had bottoming out, symmastia, and that “rice-bowl” look, so I really regretted getting breast surgery at all. I couldn’t even talk about it anywhere, and I kept wondering why this had happened to me. Thinking this would be my last try, I looked into clinics and had it done at this clinic, and I am truly very satisfied. For me, the bottoming out was not just downward displacement. My left breast had shifted diagonally and moved closer toward the epigastric area, so the cleavage area looked even more stuck together, almost like symmastia. To correct the lower displacement, they tightened the lower part of the breast, and for the diagonal displacement and the cleavage side, they opened a little more space toward the outside so it would not gather inward. Since I was also worried about lateral displacement, they said they would open only the minimum amount of space needed so the breast shape could be formed naturally. For the cleavage area, they resolved it with a surgical technique so the area that had gathered like symmastia could separate again! Also, my first surgery was done through an inframammary incision, and maybe because of that, the upper part of the breast had not been dissected well, so the breast shape looked like a rice bowl, with the border of the implant completely visible at the top. But for this second revision surgery, they used a transaxillary incision and redid the upper dissection, so the rice-bowl shape disappeared and it naturally changed into a UU shape ㅠㅠ Can you see how the cleavage that had been stuck together naturally separated, and how the inframammary folds are now aligned? Even though it was a difficult case, I heard the doctor does not like leaving scars on the breasts and performs surgery well using only a transaxillary incision, so I trusted them and had it done here. I’m genuinely happy because the surgical result is so good. To be honest, since my first surgery and revision surgery were both through inframammary incisions, I really hesitated about doing a transaxillary incision because I didn’t want any additional scars. But they said they would make it remain only like a wrinkle, so I trusted them and went ahead. I had heard that pain and recovery would be worse, but the director firmly said that was not true, and that if the surgical skill is good, it does not hurt. And I am not lying, it really did not hurt. It only felt slightly stiff around the armpit area. The clinic also showed me follow-up photos of people who had surgery through transaxillary incisions, and they really looked like armpit wrinkles. When I went for my follow-up this time, they showed me the transaxillary surgical site in the mirror and explained it to me, and I felt relieved because the surgical mark really looked clean, like a wrinkle. They keep having me apply taping, and they told me I am managing it well. They said that if I continue managing it well, it will look like a wrinkle, so if anything, I really regret having my previous surgeries done through inframammary incisions..ㅠㅠ They said the scars on the inframammary fold would disappear, but even after getting laser treatment for inframammary incision scars, they absolutely do not disappear.. I know revision and second revision surgeries are more difficult than the first surgery, but I am truly so, so satisfied. If you are looking into breast surgery, definitely get a consultation at this clinic too ㅠㅠ First of all, the director shapes things naturally and beautifully, personally takes care of everything, and the postoperative care is so good! Ah! At the previous hospital, when I went for aftercare, there were separate people in charge of care, so when I took the time to come up from another region, they would just set up the devices and the care session would be over, you know? Even if my breast shape became strange, they were only in charge of care, so when I asked questions, they said I would probably need to see the director. Then I had to make another appointment for consultation, go back separately on the day consultation was available, and even then, instead of explaining things in detail, they would say things like we should watch it a bit more. But here, the director personally does all the aftercare! Every time, the director carefully checked my condition, so I felt reassured. Even after laser? treatment or antibiotics, the director always additionally checked my progress every time I went, personally did the disinfection, personally did the taping, asked in detail whether anything was uncomfortable or whether there were any additional painful areas, answered right away whenever I had questions, and told me to contact them immediately if I felt any discomfort. Seeing that made me feel they focus on each person in detail, which I really liked.
