Since I was only going to get double eyelid surgery once, I wanted to do it properly without needing revision surgery, so even if it cost a bit more, I spent a long time looking mainly for clinics where a single director personally performs the surgery, and then made my decision. During the consultation, the director examined the condition of my eyes very carefully and in detail. I really liked that he set the surgical direction based on my face shape rather than trends. He also showed me about 3 to 4 possible lines and explained the pros and cons of each, so I think that made me trust him. I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty + circle canthoplasty (lateral/lower canthoplasty) together, and the more the swelling went down after the stitches were removed, the more satisfied I became. Especially after the circle canthoplasty, the outer corners of my eyes opened up naturally and refreshingly, so my overall impression became much softer. People around me also said they looked like my original eyes and that they were really pretty, so I felt so proud haha After surgery, they gave me an aftercare kit with gauze, ice packs, and so on, and the follow-up consultations were thorough, so I don’t think I had any discomfort during recovery. The managers were also easy to reach! It was my first surgery, but if you are particular about the line or worried about revision surgery, wherever it may be, I really think doing it properly from the start at a place that is good, like I did, gives you peace of mind and higher satisfaction.
