It’s been 4 months since I had a type 1 cheekbone reduction surgery with Director Kwon Jae-hyun at Soda, and I’m going to write a review comparing what has changed since the 1-month mark. I haven’t had any major pain or discomfort, so I haven’t had to contact the hospital. Of course, it’s not like things were completely normal the way they were before surgery, but so far I haven’t had issues like noises or severe pain. Just occasional mild pain reminds me that I had surgery lol Before, when I smiled, my face felt kind of tight, swollen, and heavy, but these days it doesn’t feel that tight anymore, just a bit heavy, so I feel like the swelling is going down well. As for eating, I’m eating pretty much anything. But I’m still a bit anxious, so I’m trying not to eat things that require a lot of chewing or are hard. I started practicing opening my mouth little by little from the 2-month mark, and now I can open it just enough to fit 3 fingers, so I’m living without major discomfort. I’ve also been applying scar ointment diligently, so the sideburn scar isn’t really visible unless someone stands right next to me and deliberately looks for the scar. These days I just freely brush my hair back and go around like that. I didn’t tell anyone except close friends that I had surgery, but it turned out natural enough that people wouldn’t know I had it done. I’ve heard that I look prettier, and that my impression used to look a bit strong but now looks rounder, so I’m completely satisfied!!
