I heard that if you get the two-line incision technique, there’s a chance of developing an extra overlapping crease? They said that’s why there aren’t photo reviews from long after surgery... Then you’d have to get revision surgery. I’d heard that scarring can be a side effect of the two-line incision technique, but this is my first time hearing about an overlapping crease. Can anyone tell me from their experience if that’s really true?
익명 A more serious side effect than that is when the adhesion of the original line doesn’t release. Even though they make an incision, it ends up forming again along the upper original line.

익명 [@I hate revision surgery] It’s not really an overlapping crease. Since the newly incised line doesn’t take, you just end up with your original double eyelid plus one more scalpel mark underneath.
furi People seem to get really stressed because of scarring or developing an overlapping crease from that.

감쟈 It’s been almost 3 years since my surgery now, and nothing’s wrong. I even rub my eyes really hard. The progress itself isn’t much different from the 1-year mark. Even with the same doctor, some people struggle because of overlapping creases and some people are satisfied. That’s just how it seems,,
