Facial Surgery Reviews

For those planning surgery

It’s been a little over a year for me now I had cheekbone reduction and jaw surgery.. I also read a lot of reviews here and got a lot of help, so I wanted to write down the parts I didn’t know before surgery 1. A lot of people complain about cheek sagging If you have thin soft tissue, or if you have relatively thin bones but a sharply angled face people like that will definitely get cheek sagging + jaw sagging I have relatively thick skin and thick bones, and they said the muscles attached to my face are thick too But I had very little fat in my cheeks, so I got cheek sagging below the cheekbones, but it was a positive kind of cheek sagging, like my face had just gotten fat injected into it A friend of mine with thinner skin than me had the same surgery at the same hospital, but unlike me, the tissue slipped downward and she got negative cheek sagging My friend had some time to heal, then got liposuction, but it got worse Her facial line is pretty, but she looks older I think it would be better to first figure out what kind of skin you have 2. Changes in the oral structure also happen Before, the backs of my upper front teeth and my lower teeth would just barely touch when I closed my mouth but now the curve has narrowed to the point where a thumbnail can fit in People say that, theoretically, this makes no sense, but when I measured it, there was about a 2 mm gap.. My mouth looks a little protrusive I don’t know if there are others like me, but if you feel your mouth is slightly protrusive, I think you really need to discuss this part with your surgeon 3. I had cheekbone surgery without fixation From the front, I had 8 mm taken in on each side cheekbone, 1.6 cm total, and I was extremely, extremely satisfied with the result but maybe because the cheekbones were brought in too much, or because the jaw was handled wrong, my mouth only opens about two-thirds of what it did before surgery The hospital says there’s nothing they can do So when I’m at gatherings or in crowded places, if I need to eat something big or chew something large, I have to give up on the food 4. Skin problems appear on the face This happened to all of my friends who had double jaw surgery, jaw shaving, or cheekbone surgery The problem is that it’s still appearing on my face even after a year I’ve been going to the dermatologist for about 8 months? I’m still getting acne, and some of it even leaves scars.. Not tiny whiteheads, but the yellow pus-filled kind Especially the area under the jaw.. I guess it’s because they shaved the bone and inflammation developed under the skin, but it doesn’t go down easily If you have sensitive skin or usually get a lot of breakouts, I think this part could be even more stressful If you’re thinking about it and are sensitive to these kinds of things, or find them a bit worrying, I think it would be better to think very seriously before making your decision~
