I left a nasal bone fracture untreated, and in the end, when I had nose surgery, I had functional nose surgery done too^_^ I’m writing this review both to raise awareness so everyone doesn’t leave a nose injury untreated like I did + to brag a little about my successful nose surgery haha At first, after I bumped it and fractured my nasal bone, I didn’t think it was that serious. I thought it would just bruise and hurt for a bit, so I didn’t even go to the hospital and just let it pass. But as time went by and I got older, my nose started to look more crooked, and breathing became more and more stuffy. One side in particular had really bad nasal congestion. At first I thought it was rhinitis, so I went to the hospital, and they said the old fracture hadn’t been properly treated, so the bone had become fixed in a deformed state^_^.... My nasal septum was deviated too, and because of that, the space inside my nose had narrowed, making it difficult to breathe....? So while having a consultation at the clinic, they said functional nose surgery could be covered by indemnity insurance, and they strongly recommended surgery, so I ended up deciding to have it haha... They said the cosmetic part was my choice, but rather than getting bothered by it later and having revision surgery, I thought it would be better to do it while having functional nose surgery, so I had both functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty done at the clinic. (To be honest, the director drawing such a pretty line for me also played a part hehe) Before surgery, I was a bit nervous because it included functional nose surgery, but once I was put under anesthesia and came to, it was already over lol (awkward....) After surgery, I consistently went to the hospital for follow-up checks and focused on recovery, and before I knew it, all the swelling had gone down. The shape really suits my face well, so now I’m living very happily~! Even my closest friends admitted that my impression became noticeably prettier because of the nose surgery... Especially the improvement in the functional part is honestly beyond words... It’s amazingㅜㅜ It feels like I went right back to before breathing became uncomfortable... I really felt why so many people get functional nose surgery hehe I had seen a lot of people say that indemnity insurance claims are difficult, but maybe because I had it done by an ENT specialist, I didn’t really have any trouble. I organized the documents just as the hospital instructed, and the reimbursement came through exactly as expected ^_^ Now everything is resolved for me, so I can write this comfortably, but if treatment is delayed too long after a nasal fracture, they say it really becomes hard to treat, so everyone, please! please! if you get hurt, go to the hospital in timeㅠㅠ And the clinic where I had surgery really improved my functional nose issues properly and made the nose shape so pretty too, so if you’re worried about your nose, try it, try it~
