In my previous two surgeries, both double-eyelid lines were too high and asymmetrical. Especially in one eye, I was really bothered by the line folding into multiple layers. Every time I looked in the mirror, both eyes looked different, which stressed me out a lot, and since makeup couldn’t cover it well, I eventually decided on revision surgery. This time, I had incisional ptosis correction, and from consultation to surgery, the doctor gave a very thorough consultation. Since it was an incisional method, recovery took a little longer, but I definitely felt a clear effect from the eye-shape correction. Right after surgery, there was swelling and slight discomfort, but over time the line gradually started settling naturally, and now it has been about half a year since surgery. The double eyelids that had been asymmetrical are now well balanced, and the issue where the line folded into multiple layers like before has disappeared, so my eyes now look much clearer and more open. At first, I had a lot of concerns because it was revision surgery, but looking at the result now, I think it was a really good choice. For anyone like me who is dissatisfied with their double-eyelid line or has concerns about their eye shape, I’d like to say that revision surgery is definitely worth considering.
