I still have one hospital left, but I have to kill two hours, so I’m resting at a cafe. When I went to hospitals, I was definitely planning to get incisional double-eyelid surgery. Aside from that, I was a little worried they might tell me to do everything like ptosis correction, canthoplasty, fat repositioning, and all sorts of things, so I tried to consult thoroughly. Fortunately(?) they all told me to do only incision (consultations were also 5-10 minutes, and since they only said incision, compared with how much I researched before visiting, I had nothing to ask). Instead, they said quite a bit of excision would be involved because of eyelid sagging. And they said a large? glamorous-natural double eyelid is impossible (some said it wouldn’t suit me, and some said it would get too close to my eyebrows). The costs are similar and the methods are similar too. How should I choose a hospital..? 1. Excision (they’ll use the existing buried-suture line; the reason the line was low even when I had buried-suture double eyelids was because it had already been sagging since then. I don’t know how many millimeters will be excised.) 2. Excision (seems like they’ll set the line just a tiny bit above the existing buried-suture line; I don’t know how many millimeters will be excised, but probably around 5mm. My eyes have sagged that much, so that much needs to be removed for the line to show. If I want to raise the inner-front part like in the photo, I’d need medial canthoplasty, but for you, if you get medial canthoplasty, there will be quite a bit of lacrimal caruncle exposure.) 3. Excision (to raise it like the photo, I’d probably need a forehead lift; give up on wanting it high.) Honestly, I liked the consultation at hospital 2 the most, but hospital 1 seems more famous for revision surgery, so I’m torn.
