I usually had severe rhinitis, so I couldn’t breathe well, and when I slept, I ended up sleeping with my mouth open, so my throat hurt in the morning. Because feeling unrested was always part of my routine, I decided to get nose surgery. While looking into functional rhinoplasty, I thought it would be good to also address the low nasal bridge that had always bothered me and the nose that looked like a droopy, arrow-shaped nose when I smiled, so I ended up getting cosmetic rhinoplasty at the same time too haha After getting consultations, I found out that more people than I expected proceed with functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty together, like me. During the consultation, I was told I needed functional rhinoplasty because of a deviated septum and hypertrophy of the nasal tissue. Cosmetically, I wanted to improve my low nose with an arrow-nose feel, which had been my concern, while keeping it from looking artificial and creating a line that suited my overall impression, so I explained various things to the doctor, and he quickly understood and designed the line for me. I also wanted the nasal tip not to look pointy, and the doctor likewise recommended a naturally harmonious look rather than an artificial-looking nose, so I thought it was exactly what I wanted and went ahead with surgery using the line he had designed. Right after surgery, because of my constitution, I had quite a bit of swelling and bruising, but when I contacted the hospital, they responded so kindly. As time passed, the swelling went down pretty quickly and I could feel the line settling into place, so I don’t think I was too worried. After surgery, the line is naturally pretty, and the height is exactly the feeling I had in mind, so I like it. Since the surgery, people around me have also been telling me a lot that my overall impression has become softer haha And the functional nose part is really amazing. Breathing has become so, so comfortable. I can’t believe I don’t have any nasal congestion at allㅠㅠ…. It’s so comfortable when I sleep too!! If you were someone severe like I was before rhinitis nose surgery, you’ll know exactly what I meanㅠ Oh, and for the functional rhinoplasty cost, I processed it through actual-expense insurance, so I had the surgery at a really good cost. Since I had the consultation and surgery with an ENT specialist doctor, the reimbursement went through without difficulty too. I feel genuinely proud that all the things I was concerned about improved while the surgery still gave me such a naturally pretty line, and it really makes me feel again that I did well getting the surgery. ++++ I had the surgery at Livian!
