Hello... I finally got double eyelid surgery~ Before surgery, I begged other people for tons of information.. I also uploaded photos of my eyes and asked here what kind of surgery would be good, (Someone commented asking whether I was a woman or a man, so I was totally crushed~~OTL I may have rushed into surgery even more because of that person. lol) Last week on the 8th, I booked consultations at three places and went to Wonjin, Mimi, and Hyundai Aesthetics for consultations, and now I’m recovering after surgery. After going around for consultations, I felt that each director really does have a very different style. I was tempted by the lower canthoplasty that the director at the last plastic surgery clinic recommended, but.. money held me back... lol In the end, the day after the consultations, I passed on epicanthoplasty, lower canthoplasty, and all that~~~ For the double eyelid surgery too, I just did the simplest method, buried-suture only. The large hospital looked sophisticated and nice, but they said there were more than ten directors who specialize only in eyes. I wasn’t exactly sure which director would operate on my eyes, and I couldn’t get a careful grasp of details like the operating director’s experience.. number of surgeries.. and things like that. So I compared carefully: how many years since becoming a board-certified plastic surgeon.. how many surgeries they had done.. and decided. I had surgery the very next day with the director who looked at my eyes, shaped the double eyelid line, and explained everything calmly. This is what my eyes looked like before surgery. I’m uploading it together with a photo I took today, 5 days after surgery, of my plain eyes that didn’t even have inner double eyelids~ I’m personally satisfied with the change. I can’t believe they could change this much with only buried-suture double eyelid surgery, without epicanthoplasty or lateral canthoplasty..
