First of all, I often feel like I’m opening my eyes with my forehead, so I really wanted ptosis correction more than double eyelid surgery. But I found out while going to consultations today that ptosis correction surgery can have side effects involving Müller’s muscle? But two places explained it the same way, like below. Non-incisional ptosis correction -> touches Müller’s muscle -> side effects occur from pulling too hard Incisional ptosis correction -> does not touch Müller’s muscle -> safer than non-incisional They said it like this, but is that right? At the same time, one director said that if you’re going to do a partial incision, it’s better to do a full incision. They explained that non-incisional ptosis correction is a surgery that touches Müller’s muscle, but since it still has to produce a surgical effect, it pulls excessively and therefore has many side effects. The place I liked the most recommended partial incision + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty and upper epicanthoplasty.. After hearing the explanation above, I got confused.. Partial incision is also limited compared to full incision.. so I feel like it wouldn’t be much different from non-incisional. I’m also wondering if recommending partial incision itself is just sales tactics.. What is right.. Some people seem to say not to do ptosis correction at all.. I can’t decide.
