After orthodontic treatment, my face from the side looked too sunken around the mouth, and before braces my lips were big, but as my protruding mouth went in a lot, all of my lips rolled inward + as much as there was extra space in my mouth, my mouth corners drooped, and that stressed me out
For the mouth corners, I wasn’t hoping to lift them into a smiley look, I just thought it would be nice if they could be restored to the level before they drooped, and for my lips, my lower lip was thicker than my upper lip, so it was in a serious state lolol
And for the forehead filler, my friend originally told me not to go overboard on my first visit.. but if you see my side profile photo, I think you’ll understand why I got it
I live in Gyeonggi-do and I’m a homebody, so I really hate going to Seoul, but the conclusion is that even though it took a long time, it was worth going
The criteria I used to choose the clinic were roughly these
1. Regardless of whether it’s a factory-style clinic or not, the person performing my procedure has to have a lot of experience My standard for judging “a lot of experience” was the doctor’s age range A doctor who can disclose the specific details of their own procedures
2. There are lots of marketing YouTube videos, but still, when you watch YouTube and things like that, I think there are places where you can see that doctor’s communication style and procedure style, so I watched those for a long time before going and chose a place I liked
I saw a lot of staff members here getting procedures from the head director, so I first judged that there was trust among the staff. And this doctor showed their own procedure process from the beginning, even the scenes of the filler injections going in, kind of TMI lolol, revealing everything and directly showing what style they use for procedures, so I liked that too, and I could see in advance how they shape things, so after seeing that and thinking it looked good, I ended up going.
What I liked about the clinic was You can feel during the consultation that the director has a lot of experience When you talk about your facial concerns, they clearly suggest solutions (If I had misunderstood a problem before going, they corrected me, like saying ㅇㅇ actually doesn’t look like a big issue) + I felt like there was no upselling or trying to hold me there That’s something I can do later if I get another procedure or whatever.. They do tell you what kind of procedure would be suitable, but when I first sat down, they asked what I came in for today and mostly talked only about that
The downside is that there are a lot of people at the clinic, so it feels hectic It looked super convenient if you go by subway, but I went by car, so it was really inconvenient
And the people giving instructions spoke so mechanically already that I couldn’t really tell what they were saying.. it felt like their voices were just inside their mouths It also felt a bit like an Everland tone ㅜㅜ
So I didn’t hear where the indoor slippers and towels were, so I didn’t know they existed and went in for the procedure dripping water lolol,,
When they anesthetized my forehead filler, it hurt so much, seriously.. it’s not like I was going to die, but it wasn’t just “oh, this hurts,” it was more like it hurt so fucking much that I couldn’t laugh like..?? that level And after the anesthesia, it doesn’t hurt, but you hear sounds you don’t want to hear..
I liked that it didn’t turn out excessive, and my other friends who get filler and my mom also said it turned out well, so I felt good
Originally, I was only planning to go far away for consultation on the procedure areas and for my first filler, and then because it’s a hassle, I was going to do the rest near my house, but I think I might go again next time too
The forehead filler feels slightly uneven, but I don’t know if it’s because it’s the first day or if I need a touch-up, so I think I’ll know after some time passes The anesthesia hadn’t worn off until the first night, so I couldn’t really judge well For the mouth corners, lips, and chin, I’m immediately very satisfied with the shape, and for the lips, maybe because I unconsciously bite the right side more often, I feel less filler volume only on the right side, so I’m not sure if it’ll be okay
